PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP
EndoSpine 360: One-Day Cadaveric Masterclass
This comprehensive one-day cadaveric masterclass is designed to provide a structured, hands-on learning experience in endoscopic spine surgery, catering to both surgeons atthe early stages of their spine practice and experienced endoscopic surgeons seeking to expand their skillset.
Participants will be guided through the fundamental principles of endoscopic spine surgery, including interlaminar and transforaminal lumbar approaches, with emphasis on patient selection, surgical anatomy, instrumentation, and step-by-step operative techniques. The course aims to build a strong foundation in safe and reproducible minimally invasive spine procedures.
For more advanced learners, the programme will extend into next-generation endoscopic techniques, including endoscopic lumbarinterbody fusion and cervical posteriorforaminotomy, highlighting indications, technical nuances, complication avoidance, and real-world surgical decision-making. Pearls and pitfalls from expert faculty will be shared to shorten the learning curve and improve operative confidence.
A key feature of this course is the extensive cadaveric hands-on component, allowing participants to practice techniques in a realistic surgical environment with close faculty supervision. This ensures translation of theoretical knowledge into practical skills.
By the end of the course, participants will gain a clear understanding of the indications, technical execution, and limitations of both basic and advanced endoscopic spine procedures, enabling them to safely integrate these techniques into their clinical practice.
